It got into the stores, onto Amazon, and into buyers' hands about a month earlier than expected, and the reviews have been really good! Above is one of my favorite step-by-step demos from the book... and also some whimsical pieces like childhood toys and a goofy doll I designed years ago! There are step-by-steps on both of these, too...my little friend Fiona and my beloved Merlin..
Somewhere around a year and a half ago, John Williams had stated in an interview that he would like to come back and do the score for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I was so excited to hear that...to hum any of the new themes for you (are there even any new themes in that one?). And maybe, just maybe, there's still a chance John Williams will be back for the second part of 7. *crosses fingers
The big ruckus seems to be over Harry Reid using the word "negro" in the term "negro dialect". I think it would be a serious double standard for African Americans to take issue with the use of the word...not to buy this book, have already purchased it pass it on to someone who wants to read it. When we buy these books we condone this behavior and why should we help make them rich—they didn’t help us.
I recently started reading a new book called "Dear John" By Nicholas Sparks. I have to say that I love this book. It's from a guy's perspective of meeting a girl and falling in love with her. I'm almost...for me. Or when they only give short answers like: idk, yeah, no, haha, yup, ext... I feel like I'm talking to a wall or to myself. =/ The worst is when I run out of questions to ask and it's just blan
I miss my mountains! Some would say that living in Colorado I'm close to the mountains. Not as close as I was when I lived in Utah. I'm reminded of that every time I come back for a visit. One of the things I miss the most is the way the setting sun lights up the snow covered mountains with this beautiful orange-pink glow. So pretty. I'll take that over the purple mountain sillouette anyday.

Reborn I've got a new novel for you! And it's going to kick ass so you'd better get the best darned booze you've ever seen ready. [ooc: Reborn is a man of his word . He sent Yuki drugs as an experiment to see what would happen if he was made very very happy. As a result Yuki wrote a novel that has a happy ending! *gasp*]
Yes, today's the day! The Runaway Dragon is being released today! It's funny, I always feel breathlessly excited when a new book comes out ("always"--heehee; this is the third time), but then nothing...my multidimensional characters, so that's heartening. After that, I'll come home and work on my current manuscript. The secret is that your heart always belongs to your work in progress--it has to.
