Wandering amongst the bluebells and ducklings in Christchurch's botanical gardens in the springtime made me feel like I'd just woken up again, as if I slept through what remained of autumn and all of winter.
Procrochetstination (verb) - The act of crocheting profusely to put off other impending duties, such as homework or phoning the computer repair shop. Seriously. The blanket of doom measures at 1.5...close-ups use actual icing, and at one point we can dig a bucket full of it into the sand so we can dig down and give the impression it's like that for at least a foot down. ...I need more hobbies
-various gourmet burger restaurants -the widespread hospitality -the aching beauty at every turn -cool adventure activities -walking everywhere -frequent travel/bus trips -accents -the way people care... As for right now, I already miss living out of a fucking backpack and staying in hostels, and traveling on the bus and meeting new people. It's kind of ridiculous how much I loved traveling alone
Yay! Finally got my invite to Ravelry!!!! [I'm ReyRae on it....duh] hehe. I've been on it for the past couple hours, taking pictures of my yarn, filling out my queue, and making project descriptions. Problem...yarn from my bed and get some sleep. Calls about unemployment benefits tomorrow I think.... eeeep! unless you can find the info online and I won't have to drive into town..hmmm... p.s. hi mum! =
I talked with my dad today about using his frequent flier miles to travel down to New Zealand in the late summer; he let on that he has plenty to give me, so that I may have a free round-trip flight. ...for "no." Now all I have to do is wait. I also need to remember to look into the exact costs of studying abroad, and see if I could actually afford to go to New Zealand regardless of a free flight.
If New Zealand is on the edge of the world, then Cape Reinga must be where you fall off! A day touring around the tip of Northland is eye-opening in a lot of ways. From the holiday village of Ahipara...down dunes to sedately fishing in calm waters. There's certainly a lot on offer, and I got a good sample of it.
Hello Bene. Hello Danielle. Hello Any other random people who might have stumbled upon this post somehow. Well my day was as average, normal and pretty much as boring as any other. Except drama...this post doesnt help me look any less weird but oh well. I am " Unique and Intelligent in my own special way " as my mother use to say to my sister so... yeah... Have a good day/night all.
I may need as much vitamin C as possible in my current zombie-like state, but even I would draw the line at eating THIS orange: I also discovered that Death Warmed Up is the title of a New Zealand horror movie made in the '80s Has anyone seen it? Is it any good?
Just returned from New Zealand. Yes, your honour, I might have a slight addiction to this country. Then again who could blame me. There are so many stunning places. Witness my latest journey to Northland...less touristy. The area around Doubtless Bay is an example. Absolutely lovely place, and thankfully a place where tourist buses have yet to roam.
