Two things have put me in despair: One: the logical evolution of the ore no yome fad through that "marry a manga character" petition. You've probably seen this link flying around the Internet, no need... (in case the "porn game" part doesn't tip you off, let me remind you that this link is totally Not Safe for Work). I'm in despair! I'm in despair because Japan has gone too far! (絶望した!やり過ぎた日本に絶望した!
I've been meaning to post these since Monday. I had a crappyweekendlast weekend and looked like crap to boot. Attempt at youthful, angsty, "Life isn't fair and no one understands me...thinking there would be an exam and it ended up just being a pop quiz. The exam got moved to the 4th. Damn her. Also there's still that project thing that I've been pretty reluctant to continue...
...longer Baby Kitty. She's more like Medium Kitty. Or maybe Regular Kitty. THEN NOW And a couple of Mr. Basil just because he's very handsome. HANDSOME NIECES We saw some people standing on street corners waving their "Yes on Prop. 8" signs as my sister was driving us somewhere on Saturday. One of their signs read "Prop 8 = Religious Freedom." "Their...
...blood, the make up, crazy decorations. Man, I wish I had a Halloween party to go to so I could make myself a costume... thinking maybe I'd dress up as Pyramid Head from Silent Hill... Also wish my nieces and nephews lived closer so I could take them Trick or Treating, that would be a lot of fun... plus I'd probably get some “spillover” candy. I mean, you go to a nice old ladies house, she gives...
So the one you know as Wildigital has been and gone, and i am sad. But i see him again on friday and so I am happy. Its a neverending rollercoaster. He arrived wednesday night, and as with last time i'd...to be giggled at by the 7 year old that had been watching through the window. Maybe kidnapping her and taking her away would be goosd after all. I hear the circus are still giving good prices..
PROPOSITION 8 I was driving down the road and saw another "Yes on Prop. 8" bumper sticker. On a van with disabled person license plates. I bet they wouldn't understand the hypocrisy even if I explained...a call back from the tech. Guess they don't want me to escalate to "bitchy." Good. I like to save that one for special occasions. PRETTY! Here. Have a purdy picture of Rodney from Shade .
Ahh, my aunt finally showed up. I guess I just had my worse case of PMS yet. My emotions were all well-founded, just a tad blown out of proportion. I hate having to apologize for being a royal bitch....cluster approach and have to be reminded not to shove each other and steal the ball from their own teammates. Too cute! I only have ONE more niece's game to see and I'm golden for a season. Woohoo! :
...my novel - yes the one I haven't looked at since April - it's from my favorite poem - Shadow and the Soul . Maybe with a subtext in there or something too. I dunno. On Friday, the last day the nieces were over, we dug out some of Mom's and my old dolls. (Some of which I'd forgotten about completely!) And I took pictures. Jessie and the lovely baby...Rancor. I love that toy! Grandma put...
... both of whom recently became American citizens. And we were wondering why the green cards now are white. So, there you go. Wikipedia rocks! Also alas! It is the last day with my brother and my nieces! It's been really fun. What's sad is that I had to read the directions on how to play Shoots and Ladders because it'd been so long since I'd done it. It is rather pathetic. Oh! And another problem...
...mini-Olympics out of it and achieved the impossible. Then we pulled together a last minute bowling party at the West Seattle Lanes (highly recommended). The rest of the weekend is a blur of nieces and nephews running around and sleeping on every available surface in our tiny house...family BBQs, and friend BBQs and a rowsing game of Texas Hold 'Em (my first). I am gonna suck every last...
