It's Friday, thank you, thank you, thank you. I am SO ready for this week to end. Not exactly sure why, but it's been molassas. I'm sure Rach would like to think that's because she's away (in the States...(although he wasn't feeding him) that he MADE A HOME FLEA REMEDY. And then came and lectured my parents on their cat flea care. I love it. Okay, it's 430. Surely I can survive another hour? Surely

...some new things. I live on the 6th floor of Whitehurst hall, and I've conquered the elevator fear, but not the one of squirrels. I work at Kelly's Backstage Tavern, located at the NorVa, in Norfolk, Virginia. I also model and rep for a clothing company, Lucky Stripes, owned by Nick Persico. Being involved in that has gotten me a lot of great networking connections and I'm really happy about...

This entry is like three days in the making. I kept emailing portions of it to myself! After a bunch of false starts, I finally have actual couchsurfers at my house! Currently two Belgian girls are staying...at the moment, not sure why, but my stomach isn't happy. And I need to go home anyway, so that Rach isn't waiting for hours outside in the rain. So I might just take off. We'll see what Bruce thinks..

Honestly, my standards aren't exactly the highest in the world, take a look at my ex for one ( ooooh, bitchy , ) but only two girls caught my attention during...

... so Kathleen can quit sending me threatening messages on facebook. Also, S&L (their in-laws and my brother's best friends) are coming over (from the States) in two weeks. So I'll actually be back in Norfolk again, for a whole weekend of fun. I went ahead and worked this Bank Holiday Monday so that I could take a three day weekend when they get here. FUN! It's good, because I need to save time off...

Since I'm on vacation until Labor Day, I figured I probably should clean/organize my supplies...sounds weird I know. Let rags and a vacuum sit in a trunk unused for a week and then take a whiff-it's...it's nothing to go through an entire bottle of all purpose cleaner in ONE house. At the end of the day, Bronner's comes out cheaper, smells better and does the job without harsh chemicals.

So, I'm pretty sure I'm going to spend most of my remaining evenings in the UK at least a bit tipsy, if not outright drunk.  This evening, I went out to dinner with Teri, and afterwards we went out to...be interesting, to say the least. Also, I hate US customs already, and I haven't even had to deal with them yet.  Anyone who has and can give me advice/support, please make me feel better about this
