Despite her best efforts, Veronica had napped several more times yesterday and had increasingly disturbing dreams. Okay, so the one where she was snarking Meg wasn't that disturbing if you put aside...Tyler and left her feeling rather unsettled. She decided that she would seek out Anakin's guidance. Just after this nap. [post & door are open though she'll be gone to visit Anakin at some point]
The fact that it was her birthday did not keep Veronica from holding her office hours today. After all, it wasn't like she really had plans. Maybe go have a drink at Caritas or something. Or get dragged...for improvement for her students. [post open for birthday phone calls, people stopping by, etc etc. our network is sucking royally at work this AM, so if I suddenly disappear, that would be why.]
Veronica didn't have much actual work to do today, so she was spending her time in the office writing emails to various friends. As she wrote, she sang: A long time ago, we used to be friends But...to be friends a long time ago. We used to be friends, hey hey Singing in her office wasn't that unusual for Veronica. Singing without the radio, however, kind of was. Either way, the door was open
Veronica was in her office today, plotting revenge against a certain half-demon. But, you know, she'd be happy to put that aside to talk to any co-workers or students who stopped by.
Yes, it was break week. And, yes, it was nearly a holiday. But Veronica was still in her office with a rather large cup of coffee. If anyone asked, she was working on her syllabus. The truth was she was hiding. It... probably wasn't the greatest hiding place in the world. [door is closed, but post is open]
Yesterday had been a long day but Veronica had all of the practice tests scored for her students if they were interested. She figured if they didn't stop by, she'd toss them in the mail. She was also working on her syllabus for her next workshop.
Veronica had her feet up on her desk and was reading through the rough drafts for Glinda's Public Speaking class tomorrow. Her mp3 player was on shuffle and occasionally a song would come up that she wondered how it ended up there.
Anyone peeking into Zoe's office might not have too much trouble noticing that she wasn't in the best mood. She was rummaging around in her desk and her file cabinets to get things ready for the upcoming influx of new students, muttering all the while about broken cabins and students who needed to learn to keep their pants on. [She's expecting two cabin breakers, but the door is open.]
Veronica was in her office and the door was open. However, she was mostly distracted trying to figure out what spa services she wanted to take advantage of tomorrow.
As tempting as it was to stay home, Zoe knew she couldn't let her whacked-out hormones keep her from her job. If her paperwork and daily duties took longer than usual while she got mentally distracted, well, she had a feeling from the radio broadcast last night that people would understand. [Door and post are open!]
