Blargghh.... Well I got a job interview. They said they'd get back to me Monday. Even with that job though I'll only be making 500 a month. Poo. Guess I need two jobs? I'm also chachaing it. Garg. We need moneys... and bad... And now Omar is sick. :[[ Not good. He is completely useless and incapacitated when sick. I wanna cry.
... he limps on, yelling "BRING OUT YER...PLUMBER!" as he stumbles along. One painful step at a time. It is the proverbial slow moving train wreck and many observe in dismay, amusement and horror. McCain reminds me of Omar on The Wire . First on, he was bad-ass. By the end of the show, he was a gimp, blind with hate and revenge, and ultimately put out of his misery by a child from the streets.
Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus ..and his name is TELEM, our phone company. They came early this morning and hooked us up. They hooked us up to undeground cable too, so we never have... You know how it is said that there is always a rainbow after a storm? Well, I don't know about the ranbow but this was sunrise a day after the storm.
Bold and red font because I am feeling better. Life is almost back to normal. We are all dead tired though from cleaaning up and stressing out. We got electricity last night and we actually...from my neighbor's wireless connection. Shh! Don't tell them! So life is definitely getting better. Here are some pictures of the gardener's garden after the hurricane.
10/19/2008 Well, Hurricane Omar came and went on the 15th of this month. It was a category hurricane (4 in some areas) which headed north-east across the islands 50 miles from St. Maarten. We had 70mph winds and a lot of water and storm surge. My friends and I are all safe. On Wednesday afternoon I went over to Luis’s place to do some studying and laundry. While there we studied off of my handwritten...
The Aftermath Preparing for a hurricane is no fun. Dealing with the aftermath is even worse. First of all, we are OK. We got slammed pretty hard by Omar but it could have been much worse. Omar was a CAT 3 when it passed us 50 miles to the West, so we did not get a direct hit. Omar sped through quickly too, so that was good. While Omar was here...
Hurricane Omar didn't fuck up the island and today i passed my work evaluation and also i now have health insurance. Yipee! Fuck you Nilka! An extreme eater from Clearview, Pennsylvania took him over 4 hours to eat entirely a huge hamburger weighing 180 lbs. and 5" and 11 inches. Boy if he took long to eat that hamburger obviously he will take a long time shitting at he toilet! lol ...
I had a fun night with Omar last night. We cooked a pizza, popped some popcorn and had a movie marathon. The power never even went out and there was very little damage. Omar ended up going east of St. Thomas and all the Virgin Islands. On www.ibiseye.com , it looks like he just decided to mosey between the big gap in the islands. How nice of him. Only about 6 more weeks of hurricane...
...morning and they are still full. They usually are emptied in 1 hour Where have all the birds gone? A St. Kitts reports says all the butterflies are gone! The animals know! It's coming! Omar's coming! Everyone is rushing around madly. I just came back from the supermarket. I made a wine run. You can never have enoughh in the house when a hurricane is coming. The supermarket was so...
About 2am Wednesday morning, Omar changed to a category I hurricane. It's suppose to be a category 2 by the time it gets here Wednesday tonight. I'm gonna try to get some sleep. I'll be spending the morning moving my mattress and food and things to a safer location.
