I went ahead and repartitioned, formatted, and started over. I am now primarily using Vista 64bit at home. I have a Windows XP partition for the things that will not run on Vista, and I have 50GB reserved...still at work? Because some idiot fucking subcontractor emailed us something they shouldn't have, and I'll be here for another couple of hours cleaning this shit up. Just how I wanted to start my weekend
After I upgraded my machine at homeat the end of last summer, I wentahead and gave MS a bit of my money and bought a copy of Vista Ultimate. Yeah, I know, but it's my money. I got the retail version...move my office out of the basement to the empty bedroom upstairs, but don't really want to run cat5 and coax all over the house to do it. If the Cabling Fairy wants to do it for me, that'd be awesome
T-Minus 10 days and counting. I give up. For the last couple of days, I've been trying to work out the sound issue within Linux, dropping over to the other...but I'll think more about it. Not too much else to write about at the moment. Off to watch a little moretelevision, and perhaps play a game or two. Until the next time.

I tried following the instructions and then some on getting some of the sound...watching some mindless television. Well that's about it for this entry. I downloaded Solaris 10 a few weeks back, it was free don't judge me, and apparently I never got around to registering my email with Sun. They sent me an email today saying last chance to do so, so at...send me 10,000 emails now about Java and J2EE. Finals are over. But, since my last update was actually before they started, I'm going to go back and fill in what happened then, too. So that OS test I got back that was a 95 with a class high of 90...hadn't failed. Then finals came; I did pretty well on all three of those. I also got the game in on time, though we discovered one or two bugs after the fact. Still, victory! I can has graduation
