It was a pretty chill day in the orientation world ... all we had to do was finalize everyone's schedules, then register them. All these international kids are such worrywarts, haha. They are always asking questions and always wondering...

Today I attended an event for new faculty. They did a number on us, getting us psyched to meet our "compulsively engaged" students, and really emphasized what a communicative community it is that we're... or I can't get my over-energized legs to relax. I wasn't suffering from any of those symptoms last night, but insomnia laid her dreadful hand upon my soul anyway. I think it's pre-semester jitters

Yeah. It sucked... MAJORLY! The orientation itself wasn't bad (except when I got lost on the tour-_-;) and I got a free t-shirt, that's good. Right? O.o; And a hotdog...and a Cola... ...colleges were doing this year. then i got my books, they don't have the german books in yet, so that's the only thing i haven't gotten for class yet. then we had our last small group meeting for orientation. ashton gave us all a cup that she decorated with some candy in it then we went to the converse honor tradition. then to the honor code signing. and tomorrow is the first day of classes....

well today was pretty lay back. all i had was another summer reading discussion. we talked about silent spring, and what it means to throw something "away" then i went to the back to school "beach barbeque" the frogmore stew was really good!

went to to the small group meeting this morning. then i had some time to kill before going to academic advising. i pretty much just stuck with my original schedule. then i had lunch. went to the selected...women over the years have had in participating in these traditions. i stayed for the distracted globe inprov team. it was hilarious! and i really want to go see them in greenville too. maybe?!?

well today was just as busy as yesterday. i didn't have much to do between breakfast and my academic advising, but i came back and attempted to do some organizing. i meet with professor blanchard with...whitney fisher's house. we had fajitas, it was really good. we also played some games there before leaving. so now everyone's at interlude. i didn't feel like going, so i thought i'd do this instead

Had brunch at 11am this morning after First Aid class, and I have not eaten any thing until now, 12 hours liao. IMU food sucks. And IMU orientation is really crazy, but fun lah! We had our Ice Breaker from 4.30pm till 10.30pm.   Divided into 2 parts, Dry and Wet. Avoid the dry one, I talk about the wet one. After a day of session F orientation, I'm really ready to just collapse but thank God I get to sleep in about an hour and a half more tomorrow morning. ...like sleeping some more so I said I didn't want to go. I finally got up like at 9:35 and just got myself together. I didn't each much, just a few bites of breakfast. Apparently my mom thought the orientation/convocation is like at 1 when I said it was at 11 so she cooked lunch for me. I got out at 10:04 and go to the station at around 10:08. That actually does not make any sense but okay I guess...
