This time however he suggested that it's very likely osteoarthritis . The main clues which point in that direction are the pain, the fact that I can move it normally (so far at least), it's better in the morning and then gets worse over the course of the...

Osteoarthritis

I had it in my spine, now it's getting to my knee in a big way. Especially the bad knee, the one that gets the most strain is my short leg. Today was a real monster of a pain day and I didn't do anything...too, making it darker or more saturated or lighter. This will be very useful when I use them for a batch of ACEOs that I'm planning. I love that magenta, it's insanely bright and weirdly useful

Physician Bias

...(scripted) patients to visit 38 family doctors and 29 orthopedic surgeons within a 3 hour drive of Toronto, ON. The patients were scripted to have identical symptoms and circumstances related to osteoarthritis. However, the male patient had arthroplasty recommended 67% of the time, compared to only 33% recommendations for the female patient. Borkhoff concludes that the doctors may be biased, tending...

Family Troubles

...w/out any options. My brother seems to think that I don't/haven't been looking for work. First of all-- how can I work? I have: depression, a back that makes me scream at the top of my lungs at times, osteoarthritis, migraines, hypoglycemia, major dental problems, some weird genetic eye condition that no doctor has been able to diagnose, fibromyalgia, social phobia, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder...

Fibromyalgia... Sickness... Fuck that!

...to say it.  I knew the rheumatologist would say that I have fibromyalgia myofascial pain syndrome and chronic fatigue syndrome, but I had no idea she'd say it was severe and that I probably had osteoarthritis from the degenerative disc disease in my lumbar spine...  I am so angry it is making me sad and depressed.  I should switch to blue because I'm blue... I hate this blow that genetics...

So long, Silent.

... anticipating, or hoping. There are just some things that you don't hope for anymore. I was diagnosed with early stages of RA in 2003 with fibromyalgia in addition to an earlier diagnosis of osteoarthritis that I received in the early 1980s. The OA was minor, except for one major incident in the late 1980s. So, the pre-RA and FMS received all the attention, and all the drug therapy. About...
