  Last Tuesday Francis and I headed over to the exhibit opening of "Looking for Juan" where musicians and painters contemplate and collaborate on an idea about (I guess) the Filipino identity. It...played at NU now and I'll probably just bum around there and take photos  (and of course supervise my loveys look) and for my favorite photo: Carisse! You look like you're scared of me hahhaa  

"Finished" the Cenoura piece. I'm happy with some parts of it, but all in all the picture is pretty much a failure. At least I learned a lot while working on it, even if I rushed it terribly at the end... Then I have a work in progress that could use some critique! If you see any weird proportions or other anatomical errors then bring on the critique! I shall feast on it. Shut up, man.

More watercolor practice. My reference was a painting in a book called "Don't Ever Give Up Your Dreams (A Blue Mountain Arts Collection) page 58. LOL, I don't really know who to give credit to, that's why I'm being so specific. :))

Been busy painting lately , and  away from livejournal  for a while but will post on here more regualy now , These are my most recent paintings, Beltane The Awakening The Maiden As people that know my work will know i work mainly in Gouache , Watercolour or Acrylic,  These 3 latest ones are all worked in Gouache , Just having tea and chocolate break , now back to the painting...

So.. Today kicked ass... For about a month I'd been wanting to go to this art show, in San Fran where 3 amazing artists were going to be at: Alex Pardee, Jonathan Wayshak and Nick VanDyke. Damn. So I...to head out after a bit and after a little bit of train hopping on the BART and a bunch more sketching we left the city totally inspired and with one krazy night of experiences... so amazing.
