This weekend, Ozzy and I went on a Halloween themed scavenger hunt at the Bucks County Horse Park. We were dressed as the Chik-fil-A Cows. The horses wore white fly bonnets and sheets with black spots... There was a professional photographer and you can see us starting here and scrolling forward. This photo was taken by a friend of ours: So what is everyone dressing their horses as this year
Not sure if anyone remembers my new mare that I was having alot of problem's with. Well its been a few months and alot has happened. Ill throw this behind a cut for length and a few pics... I did end...shows as Fallen from Grace, since she was when I took her on with all her problems. But I dont think it fits her now. Im completely open and not creative enough to think of good names!!! Please help
So my bf Kris came out and took some fall themed pics with 2 of my horses today. Some of them didn't turn out as good as we'd hoped, but a few were ok, and the fall colors were beautiful, so I thought...wtf his problem was, he was screaming in my ear the whole time I was hosing him:P And he's NEVER called for other horses before... What a tard, lol. X-posted to horse_photos
I don't frequently post personal updates on here, but I know some of you have been following my adventures with Ozzy since I got him. I'd like to announce that I have moved him to a new barn. The woman...Ozzy in his paddock. The feed side of the tack room (I screwed up the tack side and it's blurry). Part of the ring. And those are the crossrails we jumped. The start of the trails.... *whine*
Well, Valerius and I finally got to head out for my first XC schooling. We went to Heritage Park in Kansas along with my trainer and another of my trainer's students, Alison. I really didn't think Cassie...my mom and cousin that you can avoid by muting, unless you want to hear my trainer's instructions. Warm up Barrels Rolltop Stadium P. 2 mysteriously disappeared... I must have misnumbered
Bullet form since it makes things easy haha. 1. So recently, my 2 year old filly got another abscess in her foot. This is the 3rd one in a year. The first one was around this time last year in her...it is. I swear it's semetrical. I just can't twist and take pics. I'll have a friend take better ones for me soon. Or I'll just keep checking when my artist posts the ones that he took.
Hey all, I might as well start with the good part of this post first. Val and I are doing terrific! In the last 3 months, I've really improved an awful lot in both jumping and dressage. Val's canter is...mother's idiocy. But the girl... is between a rock and a hard place. I just hope she's got the sense to say no. I don't know what else she can do. Thoughts? Expressions of disbelief? Commiserations
I haven't posted in here in quite the long time, however the other day, I had someone ask me how my horse was. For those of you who don't remember, Emma my grey appendix mare, was diagnosed with low grade... know what will happen. For awhile, I put every energy and dollar I had into Emma. And now, she's paying me back by giving me everything she's got while we're under saddle. I think it's a good trade
Horse show this weekend! Pictures of everyone from my barn jumping. Plus, kitten pictures. Max is an Andalusian/Thoroughbred. Jumps so freaking cute. Reserve Champion of Level 1 at this show. ...crew! Last but not least...new kitten pictures, for those interested. They were with me the whole time at the show, so hopefully its legal. They're doing so well. The end. :)
Valerius has been an incredibly good boy lately. He's been great in all my lessons, and yesterday I had a clinic with my trainer's old instructor, and he was nearly perfect all day. He graduated to saint...never oozed or scabbed. If it doesn't clear up in the next 5 days or so, we're going to call the vet out and see what he thinks of it. Any help would be appreciated, though. Sorry for the long post
