There's quite a bit of insight on Snape, too, so though I generally dislike unexplained character undeaths, I'm going to forgive this one enough to rec it! :P

Title : Tied Together Author : stmargarets Rating : PG-13 Characters/Pairings : Harry Potter/Ginny Weasley, Petunia Dursley, Weasley Family, Albus Potter, James Potter (Jr), Lily Potter...flare. More importantly, it shapes Harry and Ginny as parents from their early experiences. I love the way it ends as well - a clear resolution, and the simple achievement by Albus is very symbolic.

Title : Best Mother in the World Author : lorelei_lynn Rating : PG Characters/Pairings : Petunia Evans, Harry Potter, Gen Fandom : Harry Potter Summary : With her own child dead and her... so I won't say much about the plot. The real gem of this piece is Petunia's characterisation - it really explores her potential development down a different possible path, and it's beautiful to see.
