Mt. Pinatubo

Mt. Pinatubo crater lake, Philippines. Mt. Pinatubo was the last stop on our memorable Philippines trip. The crater lake is big and its unique unworldly blue color is due to sulphur content. The water is safe to swim in, as my friend demonstrated by diving in! #1 was shot from the place where people are standing in #2. It was noon and the skies are blown out and the multi-hued mountainous crater...

Mrs. Weasley, what a sparkly jumpsuit you have

It's official, I'm ready for Vietnam:  I rode the tricycle ALL BY MYSELF today!!!!!  Granted, it was no more than a 10 minute ride, and plus I arrived home only to find myself locked out, but still.  That's...else could've played such a bohemian mother.  And omg, Colin Firth!  What happened to you.  I literally yelped "WHAT" out loud in the theater at that plot twist.  You can't do that to Mr. Darcy!

Volcanic Trail

On the way to Mt. Pinatubo crater, Philippines. As we walked on our way to the Mt. Pinatubo crater, we passed through several kilometres of hilly terrain, small valleys and streams. They're all composed of volcanic ash and rocks, results of the pyroclastic flows and volcanic ash throw up by the volcano's 1991 eruption . The photos (and the actual surroundings) are pretty dull in color and...

Writer's Block: Your Dream Dinner

If you could have dinner with anyone at all, dead or alive, famous or not, who would you go with? Out of anywhere in the world, where would you eat? Submitted by nyclagirl123 View...you high?" Aside from our--well, my constant hugging, hand-holding, and glomping, I'm pretty sure our family thinks we're two of the best-behaved "children" in the family. TT_TT I feel for them...

Day 4

...were also there anyway, so it wouldn't hurt to pick them up from there. The fun didn't stop there though. During the entire day, I was keeping in touch with my friend Cristina who's staying in the Philippines (see day 3) via text. She said if I was gonna be around Manila, we'd try to meet up... and that we did out of the blue. I was mentioning to her before I left for SM that I was gonna head there...

Campus life..again

...he got used to me pretty quickly.  There's nothing like the easy acceptance of young kids. Though things have been thankfully low key late, I did manage to swing a visit to the University of the Philippines, my parents' alma mater.  My Godmom even took me to my dad's old "hangout" (a rundown-looking balcony in their Arts and Sciences building), where they spent their time in between classes. ...
