Our former family home was haunted. Some may question the reality of ghosts and hauntings, but I don't have the luxury of disbelief.  I feel there is no other explanation for some of the things my wife...door, and my computer screen friends still pop in, but we don't feel anything evil here. We can live with an occasional strange noise or supernatural visitor, as long as it's nothing too negative

This story is now many years old, but since I shared it elsewhere, I thought I would share it here as well. And it's one of those frustratingly "iffy" occurrences, like so many tales of the supernatural... Perhaps, but certain details make me believe otherwise. And since other clearly paranormal activity occurred there, a supernatural marble-player would not be out-of-place in our former home.

Ok, I am back and ready to tell some more. This story just gets weirder and weirder. I left off with the note written to Mr. Beaird and his wife John and son Andy. Well, the day has finally come to an end for me. I am going to call it a night and hit the hay. Tomorrow I have another story to tell about a haunting here in Tyler. This one I just found out about and boy is it ever creepy!!!! Wait until you here about all the things that have happened. You will think it's very creepy too. So until tomorrow...... Okay, yes. My new book, BLISS , comes out in 5 days, and yes, I've been having fun doing a sort of countdown of creepiness. Only, I'm finding it easier and easier to slip into the BLOOD VOICE... that's what I say. I think (I hope!) that once the book is OUT THERE (and hopefully being read), the blood voice's needs will be satiated... Maybe it/she just needs someone to *hear* her???
