I'm not actually worried really, but if I were on BCP I'd probably be freaking out about all this.  So that's a recommendation for Mirena in spite of this post. I guess I need some reassurance regarding...I remembered my periods were SO bad before i started BC, I needed Mirena. I am nervous now, but I'm dealing with it much. much better.  Who knew a moment of anxiety could bring a sigh of relief, too?

What would happen if a woman got an IUD while in the early stages of pregnancy? Would shooting something through the cervix cause her to miscarry? Also can a doctor tell if a woman is pregnant by looking at her cervix? I already have and IUD but I'm being very curious today.

I'm 21 years old and had the Paragard inserted on August 2005 at 17 years old. My last period was April 4th. It ended on April 12th but I was still spotting. My bf stayed over at my apt for a few days...I had my IUD remove. I was expecting my period on May 1st. Just to be sure, is there anyway that my IUD had moved and fallen back into place before my gynecologist's appointment? Could I be pregnant?

I've had my Mirena for about a year and a half and aside from the occasional ovarian cyst (which have disappeared, it seems) I haven't had any negative symptoms. I haven't had a period since my insertion...grab a pregnancy test in the next day or so, but it could possibly be too early to tell. (And once again, it seems so...impossible.) Ideas? What they hell is going on? (Give me your non-doctor opinions.

Okay, so I've been a diva since for a week now!!  So far everything's gone well since my insertion.   Only  2 days of bad cramping, and since then I've had random light cramps throughout the day, but nothing...help me stop stressing so much about this? (Just to explain how stressed I am over this  I'm making my Husband wear a condom, pull out, and we're going to use spermicide too in addition to the IUD)

I was searching on Google for something, and though maybe I could find some help here since I'm not the only one who has Mirena.. I just finished the last of my 2 week prescription of Ciprofloxacin for...can. This is the second pregnancy scare I've had, so I'm just wondering if I really should be worried and get the EC, or if I'm okay. Any input would help :[ [x-posted to birthcontrol  ]
