We did not shoot today but we found a Gaffer, he will be here in the morning. Brett and I met with the hotel reps, they are pleased, so we have rooms. Then we found out we had NO MONEY. We lost our Gaffer last night. He was promised something and wasn't given it, so he walked. Our DP won't shoot with out a gaffer. A Gaffer sets the lights just properly according to sun temperature needed...Gaffer Jeff found is $500 a day, and won't be here for 4 hours, putting our start time (for setting up) at noon. So I am going back to playing pool with the PA's and checking email. Good Times. ~

OMG what a nightmare! Pre Production Prevents Poor Performance. Remember that kiddies. OK our makeup artist is trained by Dick Smith, so she is compitant.
