Joe Sweeney's excellent CC3 tutorial, now up on YouTube. Worth viewing just to listen to Joe's Antipodean commentary. Joe will be putting together promotional videos for CC3 and DD3.

We'd had one entry for the "get a picture of Ralf at Essen" competition from a Mr Matt Goodman ( heliograph ). But, I'm afraid I'm going to have to disqualify Matt. Can any one see why? Ralf isn't in the picture! I have a feeling that might be rectified, though.

Ralf is repping ProFantasy at Essen . Here is our booth, a tiny fleck in the crowds of up to 150,000 attendees. Sales apparently are going well. A prize to the first non-ProFantasy-related attendee who emails me a picture of Ralf at Essen. Note to self - ask for a picture with eager customers in view next time.

This month's Cartography Annual release gives CC3 users a way to create visual representations of solar systems. This example was produced by John Morrison of Dungeon Crawlers for his GURPS 4 fantasy...but John made the planet Trynë using Fractal Terrains Pro using the free FT Terraformer . The Asterord Belt was made with the Asteroids Tool combined with public domain images John found online.

After preparing September's Annual issue for release on Monday, it's been fun simply playing around with it. We'll see, if I manage to finish this one up nicely, I'll put it up for download.

Well, I'm still on my way back home, but the three hour delay in Detroit gives me the opportunity for a few words on GenCon: It was a great show! There so much interest, the four days went by quicker...I will have the opportunity to straighten out. We've also collected a few ideas and possible plans for the future, which I will be excited to share ... at the right time. ;) See you all next year

I'm still waking up before the alarm because of jet lag, but it is getting later. On Sunday I'll probably be accustomed to the new time ... ready to head back to Europe. I was at the ENnie Award ceremony...get some nice inspiration from it. Yesterday and on Thursday gbsteve and sashabilton were running demos of the Raiders Guild Sea Crypt adventure on a big battle map done by yours truly.
