A light spot of Photochopping

Originally published at The Diary . You can comment here or there . I was mildly bored this evening so decided to have a play with the world’s favourite image editor and an attempt at some tilt-shifting . Not quite sure I have the effect but I kind of like the photo all the same, cropping it has made the composition of the image much better. Here’s the original to compare .

Grr.

...tackle the stupid rasters again now. I'm really bored again today and I just want to go home. I haven't been getting enough sleep. It's so annoying waiting for people to be here to talk to about projects. I'll be glad when mid-November gets here and then Frank will finally be in so we can discuss the numerous projects I have with him.   I have been thinking lately about just what in the hell...

So I've become DEPRESSED!

...doing my drawing, copying over bugs bunny and trying to find his shapes, develop a better sense of the anatomy of a character so I can come back from this brink and ANNIHILATE my classes with awesome projects. I will come from behind and mess them up! I will be the student sneaking up on them in an alley in the middle of the night and bumping them off with mad skills, rifling though their pockets...

Scarriest X-Files Episode EVER

There's this original short story (part of "Jeff's Family" verse) that I hope to finish before the midnight on Halloween, but I sort of need a bit of help. One of the characters, a teenage girl, is supposed...great fan, so nothing too deep in conspiracy plot. In the poll are few suggestions I thought of, but if there's anything else comming to your mind: please, do tell! View Poll: Scarry XF Episode

come sit next to me, pour yourself some tea

...two months old and I STILL haven't held that baby in my arms. I just want to put her entire head in my mouth - she's just that cute. On the note of ridiculous cuteness, I've actually been finishing projects lately. Exciiiiting! (I figure the more I hype myself up about it, the more I'll be able to get done.) Currently, I've got a regular Spooky finished, and a Fat Spooky ready for detailing. Which...

Dataviewer

I've been working on Dataviewer stuff all day so far. I got some integrated into the library and then to the Dataviewer, and now I'm working on extracting some rasters to the panhandle level. It takes...of what I wanted. I could've just selected them manually - but what use is having the clip feature if you don't use it? Anyway, that's it. Not much doing today. I'm ready to just get out of here

Pumpkin Carving

Some friends had their 3rd annual pumpkin carving party.  I used to love carving pumpkins, especially after those cool kits with the little saws and the patterns came out but I have to admit that I hadn't...a cat.  All my pumpkins have been cats at the parties.  It isn't really helping dispell my reputation as that crazy cat lady but I am having fun so who cares?  :)  Here is this year's masterpiece!

Air conditioner

Back when I was living in the house on 21st street, I bought a window air conditioner. It was not expensive or fancy, but it did the job. Then, when I moved into the house on 28th street, I brought it...and bracket. And, to my surprise, fizzygeek even suggested we take it apart and clean it before we hang it in the new house. However, this time, we're going to do that dirty job outside.
