...being in a band is starting from the bottom and running into assholes and struggling to afford top of the line equipment, getting screwed over by venues, getting shitty time slots at shows, shitty promotion from venue, kids saying their gonna be at the show but don't go, not selling a good amount of merch, eating ramen every FUCKING day of tour, sometimes getting lucky and having a fan house yall...
...again, to Private, First Class. 1 February, 2001 - I am once more promoted, this time to Specialist. This is where i've sat. Three years of Active Duty follow, and i saw no signs that my efforts for promotion were paying off. In fact, my command seemed to be doing everything they could to inhibit my promotion. So i left and joined the National Guard. Five years later, i'm still that same little...
So I tried out for a Senior Teller Position at another branch. I was skeptical at first about trying out for it because I wasn't too sure about the branch manager there. I actually interviewed with her...my career if I didn't try when things came open. So I went there today, and I actually liked it and I got the position so....yeah I'm glad I tried!! New position= more money and closer to home, so yay
