My 1993 story " Colin and Ishmael in the Dark " is up now at PodCastle as the latest of their Halloween features. I was charmed by mkhobson 's introduction, and utterly delighted by the narration from MarBelle (of Directors Notes ). Listen to the story, or download it to play at your convenience, here . I suggest listening with the lights off. Happy Halloween!
...have a supernatural theme. I believe it pays to explore new themes every now and then. It exercises the muse, helping to keep creativity limber. For a while, I wasn't sure if I would have any publications in December. I don't have much in my submission pool right now, and I've been too busy on other projects to work on much poetry for zine submission. I haven't really been trying that hard...
I do want to say this in case it hasn't flashed across some people's minds, since apparently it hasn't. The Internet is a public venue. In particular, the focus is on the Edmonton Small Press Association's North of Nowhere Expo which is going on until the end of October. "Active Observer" was on hiatus this time around, but I did some photography for this issue.

In other words, out...are turning so fast that I haven't even had time to really think about how amazing the whole thing truly is. I might just fall over in shock once it truly sinks in! Oh well, it sure beats boredom!
The reprint floodgates have now opened! I just had seventeen more poems published in the on-line version of Abandoned Towers . "West Dingleton's Loss of Humanity", "The Faces", "Holiday on Phreetum...what people think of my various science-fiction poems and the "wander the ether" illustration. And while you're there, check out some of the other nifty works published in Abandoned Towers .
When people are attracted between them, they are often known as have chemistry. This term is also employed to describe when two people remain really good or are a good match, as in that...other types of surface chemistry. How much makes chemistry and things to have in the common affect how you treat people and how much it affects which you chose up to now? Matter with reflexion!

Then I interviewed two other people who sat at my table for my Publications class; I have to write an article about abstinence. I interviewed a boy who wasn't a virgin and a girl who was. Thankfully the boy didn't have that much of a dirty mind, and was pretty much...
City Slab is no more, which leaves me sad. I enjoyed the magazine and was delighted to publish my first story there. Best wishes to Dave Lindschmidt, Scott Standridge, and everyone else connected to the mag.
