Uh. They didn't get written yet. BUT I saw a snake today! Here's the story. Rhb and I were walking back to the car after I was done with class, discussing Prop 8 (I was giving him a recap of the discussion...mind too much if he did though, after we have a real house and as long as I didn't have to clean the cage or anything. Speaking of pets, I want a kitten. And it's supposed to snow tomorrow. :( Brr
Only 50 left to write! That's almost a manageable amount! (and we'll have 150 blank thank you notes left over, meaning we had to write 150 total. That's a lot of notes. I guess I was a little overly...we'll see. It's another crazy, midterm-filled week, oh boy... P.S. Wasn't General Conference great? I loved the Sunday morning session best. And not just because I got to watch it in my pajamas
In my dream last night I distinctly remember telling my mother all about how I ate vegetables this week. It was a really odd dream. It also involved working at the Office of IT (rhb's job) and printing...more appealing, thankfully. (The topic is Fats and Oils. How can you go wrong with that?) Anyway, I suppose I should get back to studying for my neuro test tomorrow. *sigh* Or... start studying.
Friday of last week, my husband and I got to go to his cousin's wedding. We thought it a good opportunity to hear the ceremony again, since we were a bit twitterpated to remember it all from our own. ...to throw up). Their wedding was beautiful too, of course; don't think I'm dissing it at all. I'm not. I don't know about the reception though... we skipped it and baby-sat for P&R instead. :)
So. The long-awaited shopping trip. On Thursday, rhb got off work early, so we decided to go shopping to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to use some of our gift cards. We planned on getting a set of sheets, loaf...up pictures and our apartment will be all tricked out! Maybe tomorrow I will write about the wedding we went to Friday. I think this is long enough for now though. Hope it was worth the wait..
I'm married... strange, I know, but here's the proof. Aww, aren't we cute? Also, I have been informed recently that a) I can make really good chicken enchiladas and b) I'm hopeless.
I only have THREE working days left before I move. :O Insanity! And only 4 until I fly to Utah, ne'er to be parted from my true love again. :D :D :D I did some packing last night, and crammed a great...it means I get to see rhb again. I mean, seriously, that in and of itself is enough to make me want to pack up my whole room. (And I did. :P) Yeeep. 10 and a half days and counting! So excited
I have a lot of books. And I want to go to the used bookstore today. I only have a week left to use up my store credit, after all. And it's virtually useless in Utah. Bookman's hasn't spread quite...sticky? *sigh* It was, I suppose, a perfectly valid point... Anyway, I ought to get back to wedding planning. Only 15 days left! :O and only 8 and a half until I get to use my one-way ticket..
I have exciting news about housing. That doesn't happen very often, I know; usually housing in Provo makes me want to beat something with a large stick and maybe go shopping to relieve my stress. BUT...tonight! :D It's been raining for about the past 2 hours, so after dinner I went for a walk in it with my brother. And before we left I frolicked around on the driveway. It was great. The end
First off, I heard this joke at work yesterday and thought it was really really hilarious for some reason... to get the best effect, you have to tell it out loud to someone else. Question: How do Germans... I wrote a really long summary of the courtship thus far. But because it's so long, instead of reposting it here, I will simply direct you to the original source and you can read it if you want. Yay!
