I am potentially renting a place that may require me to pay 6-8 months rent plus a double security deposit up front. I can afford to do this because of a large inheritance, but am concerned I'm being taken...and have dings on my credit report. I've heard they can't charge more than 6 months, I'm not able to find it looking for tenancy laws. Do I have any recourse in case I were to have problems with them

Thank you for the recs on invitation ideas/sources. I think I will land up going with invitations by dawn. One more question to ask of Austin at large. Does anyone know of a place that does rentals of formal suits (not a costume). I know there are tons that provide tuxedos, but I am unsure of one that provides suits.
