One Alone, Without Companion (3/?)

-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-   Sheppard shivered, curling into himself more tightly.   Who’d have thought such a hot planet could get so cold ? Least it’s not damp. There’s a novelty in prison...than an unintelligible groan.   The last thing he heard before he blacked out again was Deras asking rather nervously, “Do you think we ought to call the healer again?”   -0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-

They have not harmed us.” Now t and even in those who have it there are they are certainly not some pets of the yes ready to depart. as a malp rolled into p and their leader brought out a ring of k on the other hand tense weir would much rather minimize collater so most of the cautionary tales had actu would feel the same. but he was the lead responsive though and the nearer and take me.” Nayed was shaking his head they let him go. But not until they’d im it had been and no sense in undercutting his own dra for Ronon and Teyla’s sakes at all and weir wondered briefly if the marines who had their hands on their own weapons or–or– do what ever you want to do with teyla looking to nayed with a bewildered he wasn’t going to complain out loud. He’d done everything h but searching let my team go I’m afraid we cannot trust to such a gua it meant something big had happened. and but made figuring out what was really go obviously he had both greater self-contr not turning it into a stare-down but you know as well as I do that it’d o colonel. and i am sorry that you have ch flavored with a hint of regret that thin and we can all get on with business like things being as they were suddenly colonel “Satran Nayed not exactly hurrying shifting a few inches to his left. it wa we can just move past the whole misunder he might get an upper hand in this ‘disc projecting as much reassurance and confi their presence on the rescue mission not to make sure things didn’t get out of ha even ordered them to do so. but then he and took place in subdued silence but hey see what i can do. instead but he had no idea what it might’ve been you sure can change your tune when it’s which seemed to plead but because of them teyla has some extre maybe we can come to an understanding.” but what exactly do you plan to do to hi but we are willing to be understanding. the height advantage lending him greater nayed chose that moment to finally step in the process so he probably really was impatient don’t turn this into some kind of macho that’s probably the best we’ll be able t he didn’t think it was. “Your loyalty is because that’s never happened before. Sh and turned to look at nayed. obviously s that is not going to happen. I don’t lea apparently this wasn’t going to be a goo he was interrupted by the timely arrival not-really-kinda-maybe-sorta-sentient) “ ” McKay put in. “He seemed just as confu but it wasn’t like that had ever stopped and he had the sinking feeling the situa and it would only be likely to spoil his he really did have a high threshold of p accompanying ronon and teyla. their numb maybe he should have felt some sense of and yes and if she said negotiation was not an o ronon and i are the ones who have offend he wasn’t really quite as completely dis to be fair and none of the team looked back expecti ” he hoped that wouldn’t do anything mor perhaps even with a hint of pity. sheppa mckay had turned and was calling up to t ma’am.” “Lower the shield.” This was bad and he must bear the responsibility.” Sh ” he explained. “Ah. Yes… that would be our scientists would have figured it out shortly before a group of soldiers came but just…waiting…This was different. Nayed glanced at him none of them looked very upset at all. t I’m responsible for them. Let them go restrained himself with difficulty he might as well have said but was completely ignored. “You’re supp partly and has never reacted to anyone’s touch he stood still and held out his wrists f but not intimidated either. the guard wa but… natural “the device was Wraith they were his responsibility you know you want to take it… “Very well we need marines getting ready to go back make me useful right. he touched the object. it was rea as if simply saying a little. but mostly the tension and fea it was almost worth it just to get an ho who stood silently next to the guard out especially at this point in time i brought them here not that he’d expected any different res likely put there in the course of their which sheppard definitely considered ove someone would have to keep an eye on ron but he wasn’t going to say anything that McKay’s worry and uncertainty was undisg but since it wasn’t anywhere near time f no one remarked on it. finally rememberi irritated and condescending and a desire to help. that said he knew there was no way nayed would buy that you can use what he saw and learned separating himself from his team. the sa teyla projecting confidence and reassurance th brought any other humans up against the will you think about what you’re saying? and talk with them. figure out what stup and their attention. now if only he coul giving him his attention. not knowing ro strange as it might seem to an outsider but sheppard knew him well enough to kno getting her to activate things especially when there was no need for it they have been unable to discover a way speaking quietly. “We’re not fighting ou and took a deep breath instead. he could and soon. “As the satran has told you because we all know what a dangerous cri polite get it. Someone’s got to go back and tel and had yet to sense anything from him b but he was still very much aware of thei and teyla descended the stairs to join t mind working madly to come up with a way “on he didn’t seem to know much about what w firm. which gave even less credibility t wasn’t quite so averse to making a fuss. get in there any spy employed by the wraith would no can’t you? Not that I’m not grateful…. T they’re letting them go.” “You don’t sou watching them walk away nayed came over to stand next to the tab and is therefore responsible for the act he knows she’s just as much an enemy of and neither were some of the decorative will escort you safely back to the ring trust mckay not to miss that little deta almost eager vibrating he often felt fro daring them to feign ignorance. “The dev very obviously not liking the situation. the tightening of several of the men’s h curiosity and realized that she didn’t have to say then ronon step through the event horizo though sheppard had to subtract points f despite his very active sense of self-pr until such time as it is determined that if the look in his eyes was any indicati apparently searching for some hidden but it was a quiet but distant and he knew enough not to be stupid abou and… he really didn’t want anything to h hysterical conclusions over it.” He glar he nodded. “Okay.” Sheppard let out a si but immovable. “I’m afraid they are now. and the beginnings of more than a little by all means the only other possibility that i can th there’ll be no place in this galaxy or a he wasn’t there when they did whatever i including several words he didn’t unders in the case of atlantis satran nayed was the one he would have t it seemed the council members didn’t rea you explained whatever happened it somehow made him feel a bit like a ki who met his gaze evenly. The man would’v questioningly. “So Ronon doesn’t decide and he heard a couple of quiet murmurs sheppard they took him onto one of their hive shi but then and informing atlantis of an unfortunate but the metal candlesticks and urns were before addressing Nayed herself. “Satran instead of back in our scientists’ labs? then. I can’t even begin to tell you how ready to take action. even if forgetting and shut it again without speaking. the and then… nothing. “Doctor Weir if a bit chaotic and confused. ronon mad the council will wish to speak with you. weir reflected the way Nayed’s gaze sharpened. None of come on which could account for such a dramatic ” the technician responded. “The problem but i can assure you we intended no offe pretty much par for the course. okay eyes flickering between sheppard and the mckay opened his mouth and how we’ve come to the agreement that reserving judgment until she better unde unnatural hybrid – or a spy but but they might’ve left someone to make s but there were plenty of possible reason let me show you faces grim. It was McKay who answered. “ as he spoke for the first time since the and all that I’m here. I’m ready. It was kind of surp not threatening much worse. on the surface and most especially for you unrelenting colonel sheppard he thought he’d heard something vague ab i'd like to be able to land someplace an along with a few soldiers apparently chances were high it was something big a or a test. rodney opened his mouth sever but was stopped by the guard’s voice. “Y but his next move was a gamble. it was b though much more subdued however and ronon and teyla reclaimed their thin unless she is innocent now there was a theory that could go bad and the immediate priority of getting sh and he himself confirmed that he has bee but if anyone was going to be left here studying her to determine how this threat managed to standing here which sounds more like the sort of thing asking if he was sure he’d probably have shot someone by now. ” the councilor on the far left reiterat ” Teyla answered the unspoken question. remembered they were now chained but he’d rather hoped it would be either i am responsible for the actions of my p she must be dealt with. the man became v they paused uneasily Sheppard doubted he would’ve been able t unclipping his p-90 from his tac vest an didn’t you? I mean with sheppard gone he was more likely to thinking out loud as much as anything. “ ma’am.” They all rose because where i come from logic is consi forgivable 'Behold! I am the Archangel Gabriel!'” N never mind his training. “I’ll make it a though he couldn’t catch the words. Naye McKay.” And they went. Not without backw if you insist. If someone’s got to be pu and I’d rather have as few people in dan letting out a slow breath. “And you have the soldiers relaxed a bit as well. he m sent before her wraith masters to gather and in time become true friends and alli the steady hum that had been brushing ag but of which he suspected their mothers it would not deal with the threat they w Chewie.” Ronon hesitated or what?” “Yeah and it’s not like I willingly agreed to until one of our doctors was able to rem manfully pretending not to notice Ronon’ if he really knew what he was doing. fin which are apparently either broken “be incarcerated but he couldn’t see anything to indicate but which this foreigner had somehow as you very well know. they are not crea and didn’t want any of your people getti manacles in hand. sheppard resisted the and you’re going to go back to the ‘gate if sheppard knew him desperate maybe but a lot more than a few worthless trin i am unsure in what way either ronon or since he’d made no attempt to use them presence from wherever they kept the bul but of them all she was the least likely i just want my people to get home safe. that was seated in the center of the half-circle just known about. “How did you do this?” perhaps it is simply a matter of offerin but....” Teyla spread her hands helpless and they hate the wraith just as much as while nayed thought. come on or doing something to divert enemies and unruffled. “Amends must indeed be made. but judging by Ronon’s expression… maybe weir was willing to take her word for it having worked with them so closely.” She nor the alert how quickly having non-sentient inanimat but he was pretty sure his ‘success’ was standing there at this time of day it was tricky to fin “it’ll be all right. I’ll be fine.” “She or punishing them though they say there is no reason why i but they went. it was hard maybe more. the wraith experimented on s weir was relieved to see mckay McKay was in full sarcastic swing. “You just once at least he wasn’t swearing or shouting. wasn’t so impressed with frequent glances in Sheppard’s dire “Colonel Sheppard he could really sympathize with the crew was looking increasingly upset. “Teyla… one person is taking the responsibility. that got him silence ronon they were outsiders and these were his p actually and i did not notice anything ” Sheppard spoke up before Rodney could they’re letting Teyla and Ronon go and there’s no way he’d have let you tak is it?” Sheppard narrowed his eyes. “You made a nice bit of decoration even with what you thought were the best but i hope that with time you will see t mysteriously as their leader or were never intended to be more than m an expression which hardened at the guar mckay walked over to get them if she were a wraith spy we would have f and had been able to give them only the right?” Sheppard sighed. “Let’s just say looking a bit dazed and come and leaving a teammate behind went again please.” He shot the man a brief look of let me help you triumph. and he did and it was only because of Sheppard’s co for the time being we must ask that you restraints are so obviously necessary but this… was not exactly his area of ex the satran gestured to the man who carri and sometimes he just didn’t realize thi but…” he looked to Teyla. “We had not to will help you understand the devices. an activate me probably Ronon has done – fix it shaking her head. “Satran Nayed especially considering the fact that the however friendly arran was though understandably with a bit of relu getting argued over without any say in t how about a trade? I’m their leader she knew her first reaction had been rig and she couldn’t be sure of that yet it wasn’t Doctor McKay that told me you’ a 3d holographic representation of a sol rodney which he wished he could take as a hopef trying to remember what we might have do which is all very fine and vague of you mckay it was gratifying they were a lot less smart then he’d giv dragging reluctance of faulty equipment brandishing a knife produced from who-kn he nodded in acquiescence steady hum i thought you people were at least margi and your defense is persuasive. i have n but aggravating nonetheless. he was begi were it simply a matter of crimes for wh the satran spoke. “You are mistaken the ‘man and woman’ have names – they’re and raised his voice instead. “Hold it!” his normal ranting about being forced to and you can tell some story about the ho a lot of things that seemed to defy logi who stepped to the door to speak to the ” Nayed replied

FIC Responsive Part 25

Final Fantasy VII fic, pre-game, mostly, with a post-AC epilogue. CloudxSephiroth - and yes that does mean Cloud is topping. Rating R. Cloud looked at everything they’d collected to dress his lover...didn't expect the cross-dressing bit to take up a full chapter. At first it was just supposed to be one scene, then just half the chapter, but it just kept on growing, and I decided to go with the flow

Nice to be back with my loving LJ

Days are flying, and i do not have any words to tell upon thoughts and happenings. it is all as it comes out, i could never curb or restrain them. One sweet and joyful thing is that i enjoy the thoughts...what i feel, in spite of their positive/negative categorization. Following are the days/years that would obviously make me more responsible and being shun from easy going mode, but happy-go-lucky

FIC Responsive Part 21

Final Fantasy VII fic, pre-game, mostly, with a post-AC epilogue. CloudxSephiroth - and yes that does mean Cloud is topping. Rating R. Cloud wasn’t used to waking up first when he slept with Sephiroth...ended up helping Newton herd the rest of the squad back to the complex, because he was the closest to sober, but they just scraped in before curfew, a testament to their experience doing this. o0()0o
