Watched 'For the First Time' with Raya, Nikki, Angel and Kaisa at ATC last Thursday -after the exams. We were a bit late.. about 10 minutes. We were supposed to watch 'Wall-E' pero they decided to watch...niya! Si Richard yun. =)) Woooot! Comedy, romance, adventure at family yung movie. Really cool. Nikki and Angel cried! HAHA! Last night Ottawa was given the rare opportunity to truly rock out as Canada’s national capital hosted Matt Costa, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, as well as the big ticket, Oasis. Matt Costa was...those years ago, but also why I remain a fan of them today. That magic was at the show last night in spades; a feeling that sadly The Smashing Pumpkins could not manage to emulate last year.
We just watched the two-parter season opener of Bones . Set in the UK. Oh yes, you know what that means. Not any UK, of course, but that very specific one populated by red telephone boxes, London monuments... People suddenly become really dense or really perceptive as the plot or comedy punchline dictate. It's a dumb, amiable show. Being set in the UK just makes it grate that little bit more than normal. :-)
