So I watched Eragon.  It's a bad, bad movie, yes, but it was very funny.  Good riffs?  Yes! ::the narrator is talking about the dragon riders:: narrator:  "Their job was to protect and serve." Andrew...was.  I had thought that the Eragon film franchise was dead, but that may not be the case.  Scary. In any case, fire the director AND screenwriter before you make the sequel.  It's time to re-roll.

I'm pretty much in a good mood compared to my last rant yesterday. Now my brother has finished school, I'm stuck at home looking after him for a couple of days until the weekend. Chloe invited me round...a job. Only 3 1/2 months left! Oh, and I received my National Insurance card the other day, which made me feel all old and responsible. Hooray for old age! Or older age. I'm still not really 'old'

Everyone who watched the latest episode of Dr Who must have been just as gobsmacked as I me. "After the Daleks conquered Earth once again under the rule of Davros, their creator and captured not just...fans would disagree, as it has to be the law of regeneration to have a new character! However, if there is going to be a new Doctor, many people hope it is going to be Robert Carlyle. I hope so, too!!

Ravenous is an interesting film, a blend of action, horror and dark comedy. Directed by Antonia Bird, this film is not just a bunch of mindless gore, it is actually quite intriguing. Dealing...Carlyle as Colqhoun, Guy Pearce as Boyd, Jeremy Davies as Toffler, Neal McDonough as Reich and Jeffrey Jones as Hart. All in all it is a riveting film but be careful if you have a weak stomach.
