My wife and I ate at the roof restaurant last night, so I snapped this shot out the window.

There is snow on the rooftops. Fall lasted for about a week I figure. The snow is so pretty!

Saw this and just had to capture this and post it up. This is on the old tennis courts in 'University Town' by the U of U just off 13th East and 1st South I believe. It was up once before and then got...appeared again. Its odd. I mean how often do you see anything like Arabic graffiti in Utah of all places? Interesting. Finally caught it last night while out with the siblings running errands

A new building under construction in downtown SLC

I have so enjoyed my time here in Utah and the ALSC Institute. Last night I got to meet Sara Zarr: she rocks! I signed a few copies of Naked Reading (they sold out but I suspect they did not have that... Many of the light posts downtown have attached to them various wind-powered gee gaws. Here is one. It is hard to point up and snap and not look like a tourist who needs to be mugged

1. Salt Lake City is a beautiful town. If I remember to keep my cell phone handy when I walk over to the hotel where the institute is located, I will snap some of the scenery and post it later.
