... I am happy. And a teensy bit less worried about it all. The first order of fabric (linen, to be exact) has arrived. It's lovely - I'm looking forward to using it. This is mostly destined to be new SCA clothing for domnall , and I fully intend to actually take a little more time with it and make sure it's good. What I'm really looking forward to is getting the wool. Now, I'll need buttons...
Thanks, gang, for the well-wishes yesterday, and to my uncle for the scatological humor, which did in fact make me laugh. And yes, I'm feeling better today. There were just some life issues yesterday... Unfortunately, I recently discovered that My Rich Uncle is not currently making any new loans, so things may be very tight the next couple of months. ... and that's all I have to say about that
It's been a while since I've updated this. I've done a lot of little stuff, but nothing momentous. Today, f'rinstance, I got some tulip bulbs into the front yard, dumped some of the annual pots into...instead of sitting in on the Barony business meeting, but got to watching Niccolo (iarroganti) go over his KWAR class with Simon Morcar. Ah, Sidesword. It just appeals to me far more than rapier does
http://carrot.khan.googlepages.com/bomticctapestry Just finished - and posted - my embroidered panel for AS III about a week ahead of schedule! This means I can work on those Christmas stockings for my not-yet-hatched twin cousins. Oy.
The sun's getting cold, it's snowing . alsdnaskjdhasl. I love my icon so much. *o* Well, today, pretty uneventful. I really need to stop being so lazy; the grading term or whatever its called...although I know they'll never read this, happyyear anniversary for Coley and Kyle x3 the only high schoolcouple I've seen make it xD; I know Ryan and Miranda did but well they broke up soon after
I cannot believe how busy we have been around here! So many thingsaccomplished! Such lovely items created! So many more things to do! Oh vey! (All people who suffer are Jewish--so says Jerry... and my littler brown pal, Gus, need to go and get some serious rest time. I'm tired from all this writing, and I know those two just love an excuse to snuggle. And, well, so do I!
This was one of the things I put on the St. Luke's dayboard-- it's one of my never-fail recipes-- but I didn't have it in the documentation. It makes a nice cookie dip or fruit dip, and if you use 'potcheese'...in sugar and tasting it until it tastes like food for angels. I believe everyonein the kitchen tried it at some point, and it was nummy. Also, you can substitute splenda for the sugar if you want. :
I have had this website bookmarked for awhile. I decided that all of you would appreciate it, seeing as that you are all in the SCA. The pavillion in the pics is Turkish. It is divine. www.greydragon.org/trips/Oct-D&E/index5.html Enjoy.
Quiet night, mostly. Duchezz called twice, worried about me because of the weather--did I get home okay? Would I be able to get out in the morning? How much snow did we get? I did my best to reassure...kitties. Tomorrow will come. I wish I could just sleep through it. Sleep until bright smiles come to my door on Friday. But, I suppose, the puppies and kitties would resent that a bit. Bless them
