I am, at the moment, drinking a delicious concoction that goes like this: one part steamed hot cocoa one part steamed soy milk two parts espresso a sprinkling of sea salt Mmmmm! So yummy...participate in the dare. (hee hee, I'm "media." yeah, whatev.) But that's cool. She deserves all the breaks she can get, that's for sure! I'll just have to try her next Halloween, heh heh heh..
Simple, yet tasty recipe for salads. It has taken me about 12 attempts to get the right balance of ingredients down, but I think I've nailed it on the head now. It was either too vinegary or too thick...regular mustard. You can also add a tiny amount of garlic powder to it or even finely minced fresh sweet basil. Lemon juice also adds some nice zest, just go very easy on it. Very tasty and low in calories
Not entirely sure what to say in a community that has no members yet, but I'll start off by giving a simple recipe for low-calorie homemade pickles that taste great. 1 pickling jar with a lid 1 seedless...to the brine if you'd like. Experiment, add other types of vegetables, or different vinegar types. This is extremely low calorie and you know exactly what's in it and there are no preservatives
Beta marketing or Midnight Express to Kona ? Salty Lena thought the days of distrusting your neighbor in America were fading into the past. Not so. Witness the recent article in Time magazine...signing off until we meet again. Do you think I could get this through security at SFO on my next business trip? Like Ricky Ricardo used to say: "Lucy you got some 'esplainin' to do!
Wasn't as fruitful of a day as I would have liked, but it was good. Woke up to rain, as usual, so I took the morning to do doggy beauty parlor for Meeko and Annie. Dang, but that girl is high-maintenance... too. Newly shaved legs on freshly washed sheets? Bliss. All I need is a sensually gifted pirate captain to come and keep me company XD Hector spam! Time! Don't we all dream of being in her place? ~_^
Today new man made waterfalls in New York City are making the news. Iceland artist Olafur Elisson has installed pumps and spigots on the East River's Brooklyn Bridge. He says he is trying...vendor food. A sultry day in New York in the summer is improved by a treat from one of these along Central Park. A plain old native treat that makes the history of the city come alive.
[Voice Post | | Questionably Accidental] -- Kethe ! Fuckin'... Sea salt. [Some coughing? Shuffling. A pause.] Well, fuck eating, today. [/Voice Post | | Questionably Accidental] [ooc Because...it's Milly-fox, so it's gotta be weird. It's probably a good thing I couldn't find any fox-flavored ice cream. Instead, he's been landed with Japanese Soft Serve , more specifically Sea Salt 8D]
Dude, I'm frankly shocked that this worked, since I didn't really have a clue (this is mostly so I know what I did, not an actual recipe): Browned about half a pound of bacon in small pieces in a stock...1 cup each, frozen broccoli, carrot coins and cauliflower 1/2 cup of Sutter Home 2006 Merlot WOW, it's pretty damn good. The Merlot seems to have been the thing that put it right over the top. :)
