I've just read TAS again, specifiaclly Baruch/Balthamos moments and almost cried. In fact, I really did cry when Baruch died, but not because he died but because it was emotional, and so dramatic but...I never considered myself a fan of either shonenai or shojoai... and I never like Yaoi because I find it boring and I never like Yuri because it's fanservice f/f, which screams porn. No love for porn.
