I tried to sew a skirt, but I think I didn't use enough fabric and it looks kind of retarded. Well, I guess I have to use this as a petticoat or try to fix it some way or another... Maybe tomorrow I could try to start a dress with proper patterns. //Well, f*ck. I used half the fabric I was supposed to.

I bought this fur  for sew these socks-stopper And maybe, a collar, wrist cuff and capeline(?). But the fur is white and look like antique white... I hope it will be fine.

After reading this EGL post , See i'd like to make this but using that gold Brocade I picked up at the Joann's 60% of Everything sale. And I'm fine with out a poofy cupcake skirt. For some reason i... I think I realized how to fake bangs just now, I'll need bobby pins and hair gel I think. What ever will keep it in place. And i can use the spat pattern for shoe covers. Hmmm =>_>= think think think

So anyway, I'm working on my Halloween costume.  After wearing the same costume for the last five years (at least), I have decided to make a new one.  I decided to go with the lolita trend, and after a...find that my actual sewing skills are what are lacking rather than a deficiancy of the sewing machine. Eh...it's starting to wear me out.  And hurts if I do it for too long without changing postion

YAY!  I've had 2 other versions that I intended to list but I chickened out cuz this one had been up for so long. I soooo need to get busy. but I must take a quick nap to recuperate my brainz! ...and actually made it for the shear pleasure of the beautiful weirdness of the cut of the pattern.  It worked but looked awful on me.  I kept it a few weeks to enjoy the cut ( trust me you need to sew or be a patternmaker to understand this weirdness) and then re-cut  the fabric into an  unstructured jacket which is great, lite and warm *smiles smugly*. I also got sick of not being able to buy...

So what have I been doing? Well aside from working on summer assignments and SAT prep stuff, I've been MAKING STUFF!!!!! Woot. Also learning to crochet. It's easier then knitting, I can make two rows ...hat that gives me supper powers to think of new ideas! I've decorated it a little more since the pic, but not tons. A zipper fix!
