There was a documentary made about shape-note singing; it's called "Awake My Soul," and the director is Matt Hinton. I haven't actually seen it, but I'd like to. Keyboard is too valuable to shake) But, just a few words about last night's Cordelia's Dad concert...of the songs (including "Spencer Rifle," which was a riot) and we all sang along with one called "Gabriel's Horn," that had an easy chorus, and with "Return Again," at the end. Yesterday not only did Little Springtime come with me to shape note singing, but wakanomori did too, which was great. We raised the number of participants from our town from two to five, in one...books, and we had them out to show the ninja girl, to try to sing her some, and she brought down her flute and played some of the tunes, and then Little Springtime and I sang them--it was wonderful
