I am definietly past due for a musical post This week-end my friend Gearóid Ó hAllmhuráin (left) is giving a paper at the C eltic Studies Conferenc e at the University of Toronto (Saturday Nov 1...conference, as I will be going on to the Hallowe'en Masque closing party for "Grave Goods" at the Woodstock Museum ... but I will be there for the Ottawa session - which should be truly excellent

Just got back from the Halloween Concert (x2) and I feel like I just got back from a costume party. I had so much fun! :D Even though we were just performing, I'm so hyper right now! I haven't felt this for singing in...I don't know when! But...Hee! And I thought I actually looked pretty tonight. -Beams- Just had to share. ^_~ -Bounces off-

What I actually read at our Coffeehouse tonight was three pages from Shenandoah --specifically, the British getting their butts whupped at the Battle of the Monongahela in 1755. What I was really secretly regretting was that, as far as I know, there are no karaoke CDs with Tom Lehrer songs.

...and peerless skill, am not a soloist (well, for choirs at least. So far). Still, that's a lot of pieces to not know, with a concert in ridiculously short order. I said I wasn't going to geek about singing anymore, and it was a lie. I'm sorry. I have also just now realized that my sweater has been on backward all evening, and this is quite embarrassing. Fortunately the girl next to me (Hannah?)...

... Well not bad terrible. Okay.. the noise level has dropped and that's kinda worrying me as now I can't hear what they're doing and what they're talking about. ....And now it's started again Music Singing Laughing and Thudding. I think I preferred not knowing.. A Little bit . The worse thing is that mum isn't here. If she was I would be able to vanish into my room and not give  a'tiny rat's ass'...

 I just got out of my fifth rehearsal of the day. Ug.  It's a bit much. I haven't even looked at the piece I'm singing on Friday for a Master Class. By the way, I'm singing on a Master Class with Sylvia McNair on Friday. She's a soprano. She's wonderful, one of the few sopranos I'm a fan of. I'm not even really thinking about it. That's a sure sign that I'm stretched a bit to thin. Thank goodness I'm...

The sun's getting cold, it's snowing .      alsdnaskjdhasl. I love my icon so much. *o* Well, today, pretty uneventful. I really need to stop being so lazy; the grading term or whatever its called...although I know they'll never read this, happy year anniversary for Coley and Kyle x3 the only high school couple I've seen make it xD; I know Ryan and Miranda did but well they broke up soon after

...that i don't feel like talking about food! GRR OK, rant over. i have rediscovered Taylor Swift music. Sweet music :) Love story... that's an inspiring song... i may update on that. Oh, and i haven't practiced singing much. Because, when i open my mouth, i cough and splutter, and my voice is practically none existing. OK... What to do... erm.,.. try not to fall asleep? go to bed. try to resist the painkillers...
