I think I'm going to enjoy Conan Doyle.  The manner in which he writes Sherlock Holmes is so easy and down-to-earth that I'm enjoying myself despite the hefty 800+ pages within the books itself.  I love...being a drug addict and an arrogant SOB.  Watson is a lovable character that you can easily find yourself relating to.  I think this will prove to be a most enjoyable read.  I'm looking forward to it.

So. Today Kev decided that he had had it with job-hunting jargon and would flip out if he had to describe himself as "outgoing" or "friendly" one more time, and that we should all revert to a far more...subsisting far below my means and as a result will at least attempt to turn my hand to which and what ever role happenstance places upon my path. I claim no credit whatsoever for this work of genius

I really didn't expect to like this book as much I did.  I'm not a particular fan of mysteries or short story collections, but my husband kind of likes Sherlock Holmes stories, so I'd originally put this...anymore of his cases with the public.  Luckily for Sherlock Holmes enthusiasts, Doyle was not able to keep that promise and wrote a few more collections about the intrepid British investigator.
