I just found this really cool looking Mani in someone's nail blog. The effect is gorgeous, but I don't think I could make myself use actual snake skin for the effect as she did, here . Check out her blog for more photos of this 'look' and exactly how she did it. Thoughts?

Like, OMG Peeeplezzz!!!!!! ;D I've been unemployed at, what seems like, the worst time when it comes to makeup and nail polish. Ugh!! :/ I feel like I've missed the majority of the boat on this particular...dupes for the Orly Cosmic FX Collection....apparently Sally Hansen's "Laser" is a really good dupe for "Lunar Eclipse"....interesting. Anyone else interested in these or have at least one already?

I've been watching some videos on nail art and wanted to share these with you all. I had no idea how to achieve these first two, but it makes total sense as I've seen this done on handmade paper-art, too. Orly's "Fantasea": -bottom one is "Fantasea" over a dk. purple with SH "Hidden Treasure"...to be redoing my manni this weekend for next week's wear. Gorgeous color and I can't think of another polish I've seen yet that comes close to this color and the amount of color changing it does.

Got in 3 packages of makeup through the mail this morning, plus picked up some cool nail polish from Wally World lastnight, so now I have a cool haul post for you all.:D *Left to right: -MAC...Revlon 'Super Lustrous' "Porcelain Pink" lipstick...very pretty and soft. I did some more m-a shopping while out grocery shopping last night. Was excited to find that one of my local grocery stores is now carrying Wet 'n' Wild as well as a small selection of Bonne Bell (sp?...paired up with Maybelline's "Urban Brown" or even CoverGirl's "Forever Fig" e/s. I'll have to play with it. I feel like I'm coming out of my brown/copper 'stage' rather quickly...kind of odd.:/

I got INCREDIBLY lucky recently via a make-up sale on mac_cosmetics and found someone selling a brand new bottle of Nfu-Oh's #51 n/p, from the Opal Collection, for $12 here in the US, so I snatched...Oh. It's going to have to wait a bit longer as I have a trip coming up in April that I'm having to save up for right now, but afterwards I intend to put in a large order for quite a few of these.:D
