So what I'd like to do on Saturday is drive up to Snowbird and ride the tram to the top(11,000ft elevation). This is the last "fall colors" weekend ride they'll be doing this year. They open at 11am,...rent equipment, to be sure they're truly interested in the sport before I invest thousands of dollars? Oh, I don't know, but I better decide soon. Both places have registration cut off days of Oct 31.

I think I broke my finger last Sunday. I only needed a stiff brace on it on Monday, and I moved into a softer brace rather quickly, then no brace at all (just being careful with typing and handwriting... Then again, Timberline just shut down long enough for lift maintenance on Palmer, and it's open again on weekends--hardly any down time this year. I hope it'll be a good year. I want a good ski year

такая крутая неделька!!! и первые 4 дня катания!!!) открыла сезон ахахах)) Кенни приезжал опять.. как всегда с ним было очень очень здорово кататься и просто быть.. вообще люблю когда он приезжает май...перепрыгивать из свича в свою, а до этого тока поворачивала)) всетаки стоит научиться смотреть четез оба плеча! а вчера был просто афигенский день! весело.. побольше бы таких деньков.. хочу еще в снежком!

I find myself daydreaming about snow skiing over and over.  I need some mountains! and snow!..... and skiing!

I want to dream about mountains . I want to close my eyes and find myself standing on a peak with the trees spearing the edges of the cliffs, blasted with ice, and pick out a line through the hillocks... I doubt I'll see that this winter. But a dream. That would be nice. I miss that feeling, like flying through the cold. Telluride. It had better still be around when I've got the money to live there

It's sooo cold but I'm so happy. It's snowing in Austria. Yay! My table is finished and is going to be delivered when we are there - can't wait to see it. It will soon be the ski season and I can watch the world cup again. Yay!
