We picked up the finished family portrait today. It wasn't as fantastic as we've expected it to be but it'll do for the next 10 years or so I suppose. That's how long the previous portrait managed to make... Now, it will be like a new art piece at the museum. People would drop by, start looking at it in awe and say very 'duh' comments. I should start keeping a guest book or log of some sort.

We had Beng's surprise birthday party over the weekend. It was an entire dramatic affair. He wasn't feeling very up-to-fun that day and in order to get him out of the house, his good friend and fellow...and a Plumeria in my hair. Ha! Others came in floral-prints, hawaiian prints or just looking like they're going to the beach. We will all be having fun again this Halloween and I just can't wait!
