I haven't had much to say here lately. I don't know why. But I'm sure I'll have more to say soon. Had a great Thanksgiving at Soul Food Sunday in Bayonne. And tonight I made a wonderful pumpkin...Thanksgiving without a pumpkin pie? I put a lot of spices, including a whole teaspoon of black pepper, in the custard. I quite like it, especially with a bit of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

OK. I'm exhausted So, very brief. Hardy, Greg, and I went to Soul Food Sunday today in West Orange. I brought a couple of gallons of drinks, made like a punch. (And had the stuff for another couple of...limes Mix, serve over ice. (Enough ice to make 2 gallons). This isn't strong, but it's delicious. More about the party later, perhaps. It was a great evening, but TERRIBLE traffic getting home.

Nice Sunday, the third Sunday in Advent this year. Enjoyed church, sermon & hymns & all. I was and am so lucky/blessed to have found that place and these people. After church, Greg drove down from Connecticut... Such a warm, friendly--and funny--group of people. Greg and Geoffrey had a great time I think. Greg drove home; Geoffrey and I took public transportation (3 trains). It was a realy nice day

Well, more than just Sunday.... After work on Friday, Hardy nicely took me to LaGuardia to pick up Juan H. It's great to fly into LaGuardia if you're going to Manhattan, but it's not so easy to take public...Terminal and then came home. Now I'm very sleepy, so I think I'm going to bed. But I'm off tomorrow, which is a treat. I wanted to spend the day with Juan, since he's here for such a short time
