[Fenimore's spent much of the morning walking the road between the shops and house 34, ferrying large bottles that she's filled with every bead she can get her hands on. She's walking quickly, or as quickly...a couple of clouds. Feel free to catch her at any point of time during the day. Note: tagging will be slow the rare times I can go online tomorrow, but I wanted to take advantage of the player plot. ]
The song "Soul" #2 on my song list of 147 songs I have posted at "reverbnation.com/johnrevitte" is available as a free download...I found "Soul" last week at #75 out of my 147 songs. It had 20 plays at a listen through rate of 100%. That means that all 20 people listened to the entire song...My other songs average 25%-47% of a listen through rate . This is the percentage of a song a listener listens...
The other day, I saw the blind leading the blind. Literally! There was a blind guy, with a white stick, walking down the road with another blind guy walking behind him with a hand on his shoulder, letting... with moonilicious 's help, I managed to write 800 words in an hour (the most stressful hour of my life), bringing the total to: 8058 / 20000 (40.29%)
Okay, I just tried to google 'Heroes', but I accidentally hit the P key instead. Amusing typo ensued. Also, Big Bang effort is major fail. I keep having more ideas for the exciting climax, so writing the middle is feeling a bit dull, but if I just leave it and write the end, I'll never have the drive to come back to it. And continuity would be a nightmare. 6609 / 20000 (33.05%)
...the biggest day. Not until it's happening. You don't recognize the biggest day of your life, not until you're right in the middle of it. The day you commit to something or someone. The day you get your heart broken. The day you meet your soul mate. The day you realize there's not enough time, because you wanna live forever. Those are the biggest days. The perfect days. You know? (с)
I enjoy Glee. I do. I have watched two episodes, one randomly in the middle (with the single ladies dance) and the pilot. It is enjoyable. I'm thinking maybe I will watch the rest, just as a change from...a different language. The other half of it is probably jealousy concerning the people who can. Not very much progress on the Big Bang front. Sad times. 6012 / 20000 (30.06%)
I have just emerged from a five-day internet deficit. Coming back to my f'list was like a cup of tea to a shock victim. Oh, fandom, how I have missed you. In other news: just saw the new Robin Hood. It's...SUPERNATURAL YET. WILL GET STRAIGHT ON THAT - NO SPOILERS PLEASE. Newest upside: me not having internet has spurred a productiveness that leaves me gasping. 5035 / 20000 (25.17%)
Good and/or bad news! I have tentatively mastered photoshop and can now make passable artwork that I may/may not be posting here, depending on whether I can figure out this photobucket thing. The good... ARGH MORE DISTRACTION. DO NOT WANT. The big bang rpf behemoth continues to grow, however: 3154 / 20000 (15.77%) I think perhaps it might be longer than 20000 words in the end...
One of the chimneys of Port Talbot (the steelworks across the bay) has been burning constantly all week and I can see it every time I look out of my kitchen window. It's giving me the disconcerting feeling... There'll be a dramatic pause, and then the president of the SU will say, "And Swansea will answer!" Cue rousing music. IDEK. Still - shiny big bang word counter! 1530 / 20000 (7.65%)
So I turn my back for five minutes and sign up for one Big Bang, resigned to the fact that boxofmagic will never return, then two more pop up in its place! The rundown: merlinbb_rpf...may. I've decided that if I come up with a plot and have written at least 5000 words of exam-distracting RPF by then, I will allow myself to enter. Dissuade me, dissuade me. Upside? Shiny new icon
