I haven't posted in such a long time!  Okay, I'm going to let you in on why.  But please don't spread it around!  It's very embarrassing.  Eh-HEM.  I was in the National Spelling Bee for a while. ...warning.  I really hope there aren't any tornadoes nearby.  I'm terribly afraid of violent wind-funnels in the sky. DID YOU KNOW: In the last three thousand years, no new animals have been domesticated?

1- Football (NFL & College football before the BCS shit takes over) 2- Tennis 3- March Madness (the first weekend for, maybe also the 2nd one) 4- Cricket 5- NHL 6- World Cup Soccer 7- NFL Draft 8- NBA... horse racing, darts, poker, cheer-leading, bowling, MLS), please remind me. It'll either join the previously mentioned "no way" group, or it'll join the above list above the NBA (and maybe the AFL)

Did anyone catch this classic spelling bee moment? This kid ended up winning it all, and I was so glad he was there to relieve some tension. What a great kid. When i taught 5th grade at a private school i remember i had 5 boys who came out totally unbeatable in the school's spelling Bee contest. We were waiting and waiting for at least one of them to make a...spelled all words correctly. The school had to award the 5 of them. It was an American, a Mexican, two Koreans and an Indian, pretty much like this boy here. Congrats to Sameer! and what? num-what?

Geez. I've not been home since this time last week, (still not home) and I've only seen 1 game. 1? I'm dyin'. But. I had a good reason to miss all those games. I was in the National Spelling Bee. Which...for tonight. I hope Camden Yards is as nice as I've always heard it to be. I don't think I'll be itching to get back to Washington D.C. anytime soon, though. I'm starting to miss good 'ole Milford

I just had the funnest time watching the spelling bee. Is that weird? Probably. I should probably find something better to do on a Friday night that get all excited about watching a spelling bee. But...got the tickets) and see ciwwaffles....Well it's not up to me and i was actually looking forward to comic-con. Oh well i'll see what happens. Ok Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (btw kill my english teacher...bleh)

For the first time ever(in my memory or attentiveness), the National Spelling Bee was aired on national TV during primetime--and not as a sports event on a Saturday afternoon. It was so very cool. They...but one) eventually missed a word. Most took it well, on the surface anyway. In the end, the winner was Sameer Mishra, the same boy who was given "numnah." So congrats to Sameer! He's a great kid. :

 It's going beyond the scheduled time. I'm about to have a serious conniption. I can't imagine what the parents are going through right now. Man. It's down to two. Help. Down to one. And he won. On guerdon.

You either know the word, or you don't, but then you have to finagle your way through it. This is so, so intense. rhyton. Right on!
