Cookies will be soft. Cool slightly on cookie sheets; transfer to wire racks to cool completely. changes I made - I also added around 100g of dried cranberries. I found them a bit flat though :(
Tomorrow is National Boss's Day. I'm in a battle of wills with my boss because he won't tell me when his birthday is. I used surreptitious means (ie: asking our departmental admin) to discover the date...off to decorate. Hence, the ghettoappearance. Decoration is not my forte. However, I think it's at least clear that they're carrot cupcakes. Hopefully my boss and coworkers will enjoy them tomorrow
From the top: Gingerbread cake, pumpkin pie, pumpkin pie, and chocolate mousse pie. This one and the chocolate pie went over the bf's house. This one stays here! Gingerbread cake , which is a recipe I got here earlier in the week, iirc. The other two will come in a couple hours!
I've come across various fall recipefavorites of mine that I haven't shared with you guys yet! It's now mid September already, so I'll start getting to that. Here's one that tops my list. Pumpkin Whoopie... although the cake to filling ratio might be a little off (unless of course I piped the filling inside instead of using it as a frosting.. hmm..) Or I could just leave it alone and eat them as-is!
I've been a member for a few months now, usually awe-inspired by the amazing creations I see here. It's definitely motivated me to bake more. I am just a mom, cooking either family recipes or searching...the weird whitecake. :/ I'm just waiting to hear what my son wants for his 10th in January. Last week I was stressed, so I baked. Dry 4C Flour 4tsp Baking powder 1C Caster Sugar 2tsp Ground cloves 3tsp Cinnamon Wet 250gm butter, melted 1C milk 1/2C strong coffee 3 eggs 1tsp vanilla extract zest of a lemon Toss dry...done. Ice with a raspberry fluff butter cream made from 250gm of softened butter, pink food colour, raspberry extract, 3Tbls hot water and enough Icing sugar to get a good spreading consistency
My first time baking madeleines! Spiced with cardamom and nutmeg, and some dipped in chocolate. They stuck to the pan a little (so they had some scars upon de-molding) but they were delicious!! booo they didn't stay together...
