Many of my American Friends will be familiar with Stephen Fry (actor, comedian, writer, wit,  professional eccentric Englishman) perhaps best known for playing Lord Melchett in the Blackadder Comedy Series...Abe Lincoln in Illinois, no beer in Wisconsin and no Mall of americas, Bob Dylan or Mary Tyler Moore in Minnesota. Actually my American Postcard Collection is way better than Stephen Frys programme.

I am not usually one to criticise Stephen Fry, lets make that clear. I have read The Liar , The Hippopotamus , Moab Is My Washpot , and, now, Stephen Fry In America. I read his blog, I listen to...that is about as exciting as snooker on BBC 2. Running out of ideas are we? Well, never mind, we still all bought the book, if only for the dry humour... I'm so glad I got that off my chest.
