Having waited till the crowds died down to see "The Dark Knight," I do not disagree with critics who have been tripping over their upturned thumbs to heap accolades upon it. It's riveting, and the rapidfire...for the series ... and those, like me, hungering for this to be only the first in a new movie franchise. Finally! A comedy done right! Instead of the produced-too-quickly dreck that has been populating movie theaters as "comedy gold" for far too long, someone had the intelligence to make this a good update...still one or two jokes of a crude nature, but somehow they managed to be genuinely humorous and (dare I say) classy. If you're looking for a good laugh, I cannot recommend this film highly enough.

I've been to the movies yet again, this time to see the movie "Get Smart" starring Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway. I love the original series and I dont mind Steve Carell and my father and and step-mum... I couldnt picture anyone better for the role. He's big and strong and got that dry, deadpan acting that is just awesome. I like the guy lol So all in all I enjoyed myself and had a lot of laughs.
