I'm headed to L.A. to take Robert McKee's Genre Weekend. McKee wrote Story  and gives workshops that teach people about the structure of a story. I find him quite brilliant. Others think he teaches formula, but I disagree. After all, most humans look unique, but our skeletons are practically identical. Dental records and all that.
