I apologize for the lack of posts. But as most of you know school takes up most of your time when you're a student. You can't imagine it when you are a student teacher. I'm inbetween posts at the moment...stuff to post. For those of you who are student teaching...Good luck! For those of you who are teachers...I feel your pain! For those of you who are students...good luck and be nice to your teachers
Pauwi na si Miroku at Sango galing sa kanilang date nang tinawag si Miroku ng isang pamilyar na boses... Guro: "oh! Mr. _________ (surname ko) is that you?!" T_
So I got the two lesson plans done. I was actually really happy with the one disenfranchisement, a.k.a. the one I'm teaching tomorrow. When I asked CT what she wanted to me focus on besides the current...I really didn't want my computer to be fried. Now I just need to do one more small thing and I just can't bring myself to do it. Argh. The morning went so smoothly but the afternoon is complete crap
Had a pretty good day, as far as school days go. Got to go into student-teaching-school around 10:30, CT let me leave at 2. Nice. The presentations went really well - I mean, these kids aren't ready for...want to wait another two weeks to do so. OK. Enough procrastinating. And by "enough procrastinating," I of course mean that I will try to call M1 instead of writing lesson plans. I'm precious
Another boring day. I've been extremely tired since I woke up. I've also been achy for the past few days, so I really hope I'm not getting sick or anything. The timing, it would not be so good. I had...) Gah...too tired to go on. My goal is to stay up through Family Guy and then pass out. Good times. I hope I'm more energetic at some point, if so I can use a mood that isn't "tired" or "sleepy.
...Anyone want to make me one? Pleeease..? :) THIS past week, I taught my first lessons to the kids!!! It was extremely exciting. Of course I was very nervous to start out. I made Power Point presentations...seem "boring" to them, but they were SO into it, and they made AMAZING paintings. I was just giddy with excitement, as was D (my cooperating teacher). It was a great feeling to have a lesson go so well
So here I am writing a post for livejournal... I went to see Rick Morris' workshop in Poly High and to to be honest, I wasn't all that interested in the first half of his talk. I just don't think that...small groups that are ready to be broken up, I just don't think that is possible in such a small room, so overall it's a bit of a pain to be so constricted by your environment and resources as teacher
A month of student teaching = exhausting! The students are an amazing group overall, but it is super tiring. As of now, I'm teaching Science and Cursive. I'm also leading our Morning and Afternoon Meetings...one or two lessons, I can't imagine how I'll survive teaching the entire day. P.S. - Thank you, Kevin (for getting up early every morning and dropping me off at school)! You are amazing and I love you :-
and fifteen was the number of my "absences" in my practicum... harhar... pano nangyari yun? well, hindi siya absences all in all... THE GOD-DAMMING REASON: puros late na nag-accumulate... (siguro...na na wala akong double-degree!" pero, aun... bisita kayo ah... ^_^ lapit na turo ko... October 3, 2008 Friday 9:00 AM-10:00 AM Rm. 406 s***... I really need to have my LP finished!!!! >
So, thank you all for your patience with me... I know I have been a bad LJ'er lately... that usually means there are TONS of things that I am doing and SHOULD be blogging about to keep all of my friends...the kids, and as I see them in the hallway of the school, they smile and say hello! It feels GREAT. This morning, L (the new student) saw me and gave me a big good-morning hug!! Totally made my day
