Celebration Time!

Hey guys! Just wanted to inform, I've officially gotten my acceptance letter from the University of East Anglia! SO excited. Have I blathered about it to you lately? Let me just go ahead and blather anyway...eager to see how the Patriots handle against the struggling Colts. If Cassel can pull something out, it would be wonderful. Especially if at some point, Buffalo would be kind enough to lose a game

[What I'm Good At]

Damn, I'm so good at procrastinating [and letting myself procrastinate] it's not even funny. I do find it funny though that I always tend to procrastinate with Japanese. Hahahah. That's like the only homework... Unless they want an employee for half a semester. XD Eww it's almost 6. Guess I'd better crank out the rest of my statement. I have no idea how I'm going to write the second papers for my classes. -___

It's alive! Ekphrasis

The online art tribune is alive! The website is up and ready here: arttribune.wordpress.com. Her name, boys and girls, is Ekphrasis and I am pretty content( we have, so far, "three" staff member including...student, the other is going to study abroad in the summer(in France, no less), so I think we've all got an international outlook, which is great. This should be a really great experience. :

Every one of us has all we need

I always forget that these piecemeal entries go stale after two or three days in the post bin. Oh well. Let's make it work, Jimmy. (Jimmy is the gaffer/lighting boy in my mind. I do not question this layer...and intellectually satisfying than "drawing 'chinese symbol' henna tattoos onto hordes of thirteen-year-olds with enough disposable income to feed a proverbial village for a year" and I'll be good.

[Ok...]

So I'm not as stressed as I was this weekend haha. I think it's always like this at the beginning of the week. Plus I think since I got most of my media studies homework done, I'm feeling less pressured...I think. But actually, probably not Wed 'cause that's my telebears appt. [And I found out that my lack of financial aid was due to some stupid human error....GREAT so much more stress than was necessary >__

Things just keeps getting better and better!

Okay. So remember how I mentioned that my British neighbors were moving away in this post ? The night they moved, I went over to say goodbye and give the kids gifts. I got Joshua some hot wheels cars...on top for once. My life is turning around. I am incandescently happy. And better than that, I am 150% positive that this is what I want to do with my life. I've never felt so sure of anything before

Drat. Foiled Again.

I still haven't heard anything on whether or not I've been accepted to Queen Mary University, London.  Which is bad, because I really need to cancel my winter housing agreement here at home.  But only...back to Minneapolis?  A mere $3,215.  Roughly all my savings.  But it would be so awesome!  Alas, it's not going to happen.  "If the struggle is not joyous, it's the wrong struggle." ~Germaine Gree

I'm having a wonderful time in Japan, and I love Kyoto (to the point where I would have been glad to spend a year here instead of a semester had that been possible). So why do I miss China so much?

So tired... I've been working on my study abroad application all day and I can now finally say it's done (barring some serious editing, but I'll worry about that later). The application was kind of almost...out. Now that application part the first is done, all I have to do is write that essay for Brit Lit that's due tomorrow at midnight. *dies* No idea how I'm going to pull that one off. Wish me luck
