I seem to have developed a trend of going to bed really early on Monday nights. Last week I fell asleep about 6:30, 7-ish; last night, I didn't make it to nine. I wake up once about four, make sure there's...looming deadlines, sickness, and just plain ole laziness. Exercise: it can be done! And now I need to go shower, then edit a story chapter. Maybe I can get more words of my own down? We shall see

On the day the conference started--which would be two weeks ago today--I gave my students an exam. Today, before class, I still hadn't finished grading them all. Everything was 3/4 done, but the short...muddle through for an extra hour; I have a coupla projects that should hold me. Then home, SPN, craaaash. Ooh, and I could pick up some chicken soup on the way in. This? This is a good plan. Yeeesss
