I've put my whole Vietnam journal under one cut, for the sake of housekeeping. Towards the end of two years spent teaching in Japan, I finally plucked up the courage to set off on my own to another...jam for breakfast, bought from a woman in a conical hat carrying laden baskets on the end of a long bamboo pole. While I'm mindful that the grass is always greener, I want to return here one day.
