We are having snow in Northern New England, but right now I am on a tropical isle in another universe reading the great and marvelous Nation by Terry Pratchett.   It is so very, very satisfying,...in the mind and he knows people so well, not to mention being able to mix the humor of the human situation into its darkest moments. Even if you don't read fantasy, IMHO, you should Read This Book

Good Omens , written by a pair of hilarious British geniuses (Neil Gaiman & Terry Pratchett), covers the End of Days and the crazy assortment of supernatural and mortal beings that mess everything...the Order of the Chattering Satanic Nuns, and an assortment of bikers, Tibetans, aliens, and demons. Finished listening to the audio of Terry Pratchett's NATION on the drive into work this morning. First, let me say that this book made me laugh out loud. There are some lines that I scribbled down...I had the leisure, I would listen to this one again. At the end of the week, Kathi Appelt and David Small and Patrick Jones and John Green will be at our annual conference. What a great job I have

Have to admit, this is my absolute favourite time of year. A lot of this is, I think, due to the colours, The sheer variety of leaf colours is astounding and combine in a beautiful display of browns, yellows...of for me. Alright, so it's not a discworld book, but still. Shall remedy that tomorrow. It shall give me something to read on the megabus while I fend off those who wish to sleep on me.

I had trouble with the title for this post because there are so many things I want to say.  How to summarize them all with one word?  I'm not good at titles, but it's all because of a book named Nation...meet him once, I've got his signature to prove it! 2.  And considering the actual commandments number in the hundreds there was quite a bit for him to hold on to. Future Boyfriend, read this book.

Okay, I´m kinda mad at everyone at the moment for not telling me that there´s a movie *pout* Found the DVD by accident today and HAD TO BUY IT XD It was really just an accident. I walked by, looked...the movie) But Twoflower *no words* He looks exactly like I imagined him (perhaps he was a bit more Rick Kavanian in my head... Rick just has the perfect carefree smile)...
