Mmm. Is Seurat's A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte still in Chicago like Ferris Bueller says it is? That would almost be worth a trip, right there. My mom is currently watching Ferris...glass! So pretty! Anyway, if you're at all into fairy tales, I highly recommend it, and if you've been looking for an excuse to start listening to longfic on your iPod, I definitely recomment this one :

I owe y'all two Big Bang recs today! We went out to dinner and saw Up after work, and I basically just came home and passed right out. Up was sweet... but I think my expectations may have been too high... Somehow epeeblade manages to make you care so much about this gang and their LARP plotlines and D&D nights. It's almost 70,000 words long and I was still disappointed when I got to the end

Good news: I got my Sporck shirt ! Bad news: it's obscenely tight and see-through. OK, that was some weaksauce bad news. It's actually kinda hot. Um, loony_moony and memphis86 did...of the story is flowers. It's so intimate, skillfully paced, and basically a wonderfully unabashed gay historical romance novel in fic form. I really, really need to reread this, come to think of it

When Jack acquires Supernatural from the CW, he uses Liz...parts I was familiar with, and want to rush to catch up so I could get the references I'm sure I missed. SO FUNNY. Every bit of Tracy's dialogue is a highlight. Poor, poor SPN boys. Just. Go. Read.
