[[Edward//Envy]] Mr. Elric, it seems that a young boy has been injured this morning. He was brought to the ER two hours ago and has since been put into stable care. He is awake but not very talkative...with the boy's lacerations. When he is less vulnerable perhaps he should be questioned. I have contacted his guardian and the others on his list, and can only hope for the best. My regards... -click-
So...I was poking around at SC.net last night before bed. I mean... just before bed. The normal discussions were continuing. Memories of the tour. Who won the auction items. Recent concerts attended by...to strike up conversation, my alarm goes off. So, this dream, while short when written down, took up a lot of time. Lots of talking. Lots of wandering. And a whole lot of The Police. Weirdness
Trying to catch up starting back in mid-July...whew! The Police were still awesome, even better for me this time since it was FREE and even better seats that last year! I liked Elvis Costello as opening...camping since Scotland 1997, so I have been so looking forward to it! Even if the wildfires make the view hazy, that's no different than our view at the summit of Ben Nevis in 2005. ;) Wish us luck
It all started for thousands of people on February 11, 2007 when The Policetook the stage at the 2007 Grammy Awards and sang out "Roxanne" to not just the audience there, but those watching from home... this experience, these adventures, this life of rock 'n roll! Listen to that crowd tonight...I may not be there, but when you take your final bows...I'll be there in spirit, cheering with them.
I just saw the Police yesterday!! It was AMAZING! My seats were great too- there were some tall people in front of me, but I could see over their shoulders, and the stage was pretty close. And they play...set it behind the outlines so I can see them better, and copy the outlines onto my paper. It made drawing really easy. I used this picture as a reference. Gonna go to bed now! Goodnight! :
A week+ has passed and I have been to all the events I mentioned before. Here is the recap: Last weekend Friday: The Bacon Brothers Yep, as in Kevin Bacon and his brother. They were playing at a free...them out when they play locally. The Gutter Twins were another favorite - very dark & haunting (even though they played in the sunin the middle of the day, lol). All in all a very good weekend of music!
Another fun, amazingweekend to add to the summer of awesome :D Of course this is probably the last, because I don't have much planned for the next couple ones coming up. Doing necessary stuff like Dress...and it kept showing the fake stupid messages[like "WHO IS THE OPENER?!!" and "THESE GUYS ROCKKK"]. I sent: "DON'T TOUCH ME!", "R B BAKER", "Elvis Costello rocks my socks" and "Sting, have my babies!
Friday was the first and regrettably last time I will be able to see The Police. Surprisingly it was also my first German Fest, despite the fact I’ve been speaking German for over six years and having...get in free because we’re cheap.) I wish I would have gone in the rainlast year to see The Tossers ‘cause they aren’t playing this year and I’ve never been able to catch them whenever they’re in town.
